A well established, private gated community located at the junction of Hwy's 180 & 75, fronting rushing Soapstone Creek, from which it derives its name, invites guests to share the many perks homeowners enjoy year-round; Family fun for all ages including access to the community's picnic pavilion, tennis, volleyball & basketball courts, children's playground, and of special interest is the use of 2 stocked ponds (limit of 2 fish per day) and a paddleboat just for fun. Try your luck in the fast flowing creek that borders the property and grill your catch out on the new "Green Egg Grill/Smoker" located under cover of an extended carport attached to the chalet or indoors on the built-in, Jenn Aire counter-top grill. There are 2 bedrooms & 1 bath on the main level & 2 bedrooms / 1 bath on the loft; A total of 3 bedrooms w/ Queen beds and 1 w/ twin beds. All that a rustic mountain retreat should be, the chalet is furnished with leather couch, deep, rich tapestry upholstered chair & ottoman, rough finished dining table with seating for up to 8, hand-hewn tree trunk columns supporting the loft, wide barn style flooring, stacked stone fireplace wall w/efficient woodburning stove insert for those chilly mountain nights. Fully equipped kitchen, and bright, sunny greatroom areas open out to a wrap deck with large, luxurious Hot Tub overlooking the treetops & surrounding mountains. Just off the front porch is an extended deck built up around the Iconic "Grandfather Holly Tree" which offers bench seating & table & chairs for dining out under the stars, along with a HUGE string hammock hung between 2 trees, just right for basking out in the sun on a lazy Summer day, while the kids are off to play. Owners will make their Season Tickets to the GA Mtn Fair & Concert Series available to Guests who wish to attend as their Guests, free of charge!
